Recruiting for Social Inclusion Project 2014

King’s Lynn Arts Centre is currently seeking twelve local unemployed people to take part in next year’s Social Inclusion Project. It will be an exciting opportunity for those interested in developing and learning skills in either the creative and/or gardening industries.

Participants will have the chance to work with artists, designers and gardeners to create a new garden for the Arts Centre. They will also develop IT skills, health and safety knowledge, customer care and language skills as well as receiving practical help with CVs, job applications and interview skills.

The 2013 project saw participants create inspiring gardens for Sandringham and King’s Lynn Art Centre.

“If you have the chance to take part in this project, don’t hesitate! It’s a unique opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and learn a new language.” Gill Taylor, project participant, 2013.

The 2014 project starts in January and concludes with the launch of the garden in July.

For further information and an application form please contact Sharon Andrews, Operations Manager, King’s Lynn Art Centre on 01553 779095 or email .

Applications close Wednesday 8th January, 2014.
